Google held its Google I/O 2023 developer conference

The company announced the introduction of AI in all key products: Maps, Photo, Workspace suite. An improved language model, PaLM2, was unveiled which will enhance the Bard chatbot. The MusicLM tool will be able to convert text to music. AI solutions will also enhance image search capabilities.

Google (GOOG) is about to incorporate generative AI into its search engine.

Microsoft previously did this in the Bing search engine (and it worked out well).

Google also unveiled its first foldable phone, the Pixel Fold, at a conference on Wednesday, which will start at $1799 in the US.

And the Pixel 7A smartphone will feature integrated AI.

GOOG shares were up 4% yesterday.
